Oops, forgot about updating this.

Anyways, so I forgot to update. Here's the skinny. Looking for new jobs, go me. I'm down under 270 lbs again as well, which I think is a first since, she who shall not be named. Been running alot more, kinda laying off the weights a bit, but that's just because I am starting to enjoy running more. I really don't know what else to say.

3/8 Fitness Assessment

So I had my fitness assessment today. It was all good. Here is what I've lost so far.


Weight: 16 lbs. From 296 to 280
Body Fat %: -5.8. From 43.2 to 37.4

Measurements
Chest: 52.5 to 51: 1.5"
Upper Arm: 14.5: no change
Waist: 54.5 to 53: 1.5"
Hip: 49.5 to 47.75: 1.75"
Thigh: 24 to 23.25: .75"
Calf: 18.5 to 18: .5"

So I've lost a lot of weight, went from morbidly obese to the high end of obese, lost a total of 5.5" across my body.

Updates

Ok, so I've been really lazy about updating this, just not been in the mood. The diet is starting to drive me nuts, it's the same stuff everyday. The longer I'm on it the more I want to just go nuts and break it. On that note, I think I'm just going to go back to counting calories. The workouts have been going good. I had to just run today because I lost my sheet with the exercises on it. I'm down to 283 lbs, so there's that. I'm going to try and do the Mulberry 5K in June, that should be interesting. On a side note I did meet a really nice girl, Megan, the other day. We met on Match.com and had our first date Sunday. It went so well I lost track of time and called off work, oops.

Ok so, Monday (2/20) & Tuesday (2/21)

Alright so Monday and Tuesday went well enough. Did my upper body/ab work out on Monday and ran for 30 min. Tuesday was lower body/back and another 30 min run. Stuck to the diet, mostly. Tried two new Lean Cuisines for dinner, they aren't on the diet but the calories are the same. The Spinach ravioli was pretty good, not great, but decent enough. The veggie pizza was actually good, I'll prolly get it again. I'm down to 286 from 296, or as one of the guys at work pointed out, I'm actually down from 308 in December, so there is that. I scheduled another fitness test with my trainer for next week on the 29th, it will be four weeks since my last one. I can't believe I've been at the gym almost a month. I'm starting to feel better, my back is hurting less, and work is becoming easier. I even chased Waylan part way from the parking lot up to Mackey Arena on Sunday. I guess it's all worth it, for now.

Friday 2/17/12

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so day two of my trainer designed lower body work out, and oh god. My legs feel like jello, my abs are burning, and I reek of sweat and gear oil (from work). Good news is, I'm now 287 lbs. That's 9 pounds down from where I was and only 77 more from where I want to be. The hardest parts I think are going to be the diet and the cardio. Something about running for 30+min while my lungs feel like they are going to explode just seems wrong. The further I get into this the more irritable I seem to get, prolly the lack of food. I dunno, I do feel more energetic though, and slightly happier when I'm not being a total bear. Yesterday I didn't eat too badly. 2 Eggs and White Toast for breakfast, a banana for a snack, Chicken breast and Salad for lunch, an apple for the other snack, and a Lean Cuisine 250 Calorie meal for the last meal. All in all not a bad day, I know it's just getting started, but this is when I am going to update for the day. It's right after I work out.

Week 1

So week one is coming to a close on my new diet. So far it's not been too bad. Monday was rough, I really don't like chicken so, ya that was a problem. I've been doing my best to stick to it, however I was given permission to try and work some of my foods into it. The work outs are brutal, but they are supposed to make me get in shape. Next week I'm going to try to update more often, but tomorrow I will post my new weight and my total lost.
